Nick Wammes has been named to Canada’s national cycling team for the ICI world cycling championships.

He will compete as a track cyclist in the sprint division at the event in Glasgow, Scotland beginning Thursday.

Wammes, 23, of Bothwell, has represented Canada on the world stage for the past seven years, including wearing the Maple Leaf at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
