A 17 year-old girl has died in a single car accident in Harwich.

Chatham-Kent Police say just before 10 pm Thursday, emergency crews were called to Allison Line between Charing Cross Road and Erieau Road. They found a vehicle with four teenaged girls in it.

Police believe the vehicle was going northeast on Allison Line when the driver lost control. It rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof.

One teen was pronouced dead at the scene. Three others were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name and the investigation continues.
