Thamesville’s Kayla Smith has won a provincial wrestling crown.  

She went 3-0 at the recent Ontario Junior Wrestling Championship in London.

The UCC grad won the gold medal by fall 45 seconds into the final bout against a wrestler from Barrie.

Smith was representing the Guelph Wrestling Club at the event.  She also wrestles on the collegiate level for the University of Guelph.
