Savanna Smith of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown won the junior women’s championship and was fourth overall at the Ontario Indigenous golf tournament earlier this month at Six Nations. She had rounds of 86, 80 and 87.

It’s the fourth straight year the sophomore at Michigan’s Adrian College has won the junior title. She began playing golf during the pandemic with her dad.

Cheryl Mitchell of Walpole Island won the overall championship for the second straight year with rounds of 76, 77 and 73.
